A teacher who brings music to life.

For over four decades, music has been the defining rhythm of Bren's life. As owner and lead tutor, Bren brings a rare blend of deep academic knowledge, extensive industry experience, and the soul of a practising musician to every lesson. He has spent that time listening closely: to songs, to players, and to the small moment when a difficult idea finally makes sense.

That experience shapes the way Derosa teaches. Lessons are structured enough to create progress, but open enough to follow the person in front of him. A child might need short, satisfying wins; an adult returning to an instrument might need a little confidence and a practical route back in. A new player might simply need permission to start without knowing everything first.

From guitar and piano to drums and bass, the teaching space is a place to ask questions, try things, make mistakes and keep going. Bren can also advise on choosing a first instrument, building a realistic practice routine and finding music that keeps the work enjoyable.
