Terms & Conditions

Lessons are one-to-one sessions of 30 or 60 minutes, usually arranged weekly in line with school terms. The standard 30-minute fee is £22.50, including a first trial lesson at the same price. We will confirm the agreed lesson length, format and timetable by email before lessons begin.

Please arrive on time and let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Where notice and availability allow, we will discuss a rearranged session. Missed lessons without notice may still be chargeable because the lesson time is reserved for the student.

Online lessons depend on a suitable connection, device and instrument setup. We will do our best to make the lesson useful if technical problems occur, and we will talk through a practical alternative where needed. Please tell us about access needs before the first lesson so we can prepare the teaching space.

Students and families are expected to treat tutors, other students and the premises with respect. Derosa Music may pause or end lessons where behaviour creates a safety concern. Our safeguarding and code of conduct page explains the approach in more detail.

These terms are intended to keep expectations clear and fair. If something is not covered, please ask before booking and we will explain how we handle it.
