A safe, respectful space
Safeguarding & Code of Conduct
Our commitment
Derosa Music Lichfield is committed to providing a welcoming teaching space where children, young people and adults can learn safely. We take concerns seriously, listen carefully and act promptly when something does not feel right.
For students and families
Please share any access, communication, medical or support needs before lessons begin. Children should be dropped off and collected safely, and a parent or guardian should remain reachable during a child's lesson. Please tell us about anything that could affect a student's wellbeing or participation.
Code of conduct
Everyone using the premises should treat others with kindness and respect. We do not accept bullying, harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or inappropriate communication. Tutors will keep professional boundaries, use suitable language and make lesson arrangements clear.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about safety, conduct or a student's wellbeing, please contact hello@derosamusic.co.uk or call 01543 387725. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service. We will acknowledge concerns, keep information as private as possible and explain the next step.
Reviewing our practice
We review our arrangements as the school grows and welcome constructive questions from students and families. This page is general information, not a substitute for emergency or statutory safeguarding guidance.
